08:00 Depart from the hotel. We start our tour at the Ho Chi Minh complex. Learn about Ho Chi Minh’s great life, visit the Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and a replica of his residential home. Next we visit the Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius and the home of Vietnam's first national university.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we visit the Museum of Ethnology one of Hanoi’s numerous fascinating museums. Then we call into Hoa Lo Prison nicknamed “the Hanoi Hilton” were many famous prisoners were kept during the Vietnam war. Our journey continues to the Opera House, and then Ngoc Son temple on Hoan Kiem Lake. We finish the day with a choice of either enjoying the water puppet show at the water puppet theatre or taking a relaxing 1 hour Xichlo (rickshaw) ride through the Old Quarter.
